Belmond, the LVMH-owned hospitality brand, has probably the most impressive portfolio of travel products in the world, including french barges; river cruises in Myanmar; Botswanan safaris; the Orient Express fleet of trains; hotels like the Copacabana in Brazil and Cipriani in Venice; plus restaurants like the famous ‘21’ in New York.

The problem is, with such a diverse range of products on offer - each with their own unique peculiarities and complexities (the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express alone has 13 stops across Europe and many, many routes) - how does one make it easy for consumers to understand, access and enjoy?

To address this, we designed and delivered a new end-to-end online presence for Belmond that brought together all of their products, propositions, technologies and journeys into one place. Using rich, long, beautiful, sprawling content and design to create the sense of wanderlust the brand inspires. And encouraging users to approach the discovery and decision-making process like they would a trip with Belmond itself: by spending long, sunny afternoons relaxing and browsing through whats on offer…cocktail in hand.
