In-and-around 2016, a handful of pharmaceutical brands decided to reposition themselves as healthcare providers and invest in building direct relationships with consumers, in a bid to grow market share of their products and lock-in more sustainable profits.
During this wave of sector disruption, Israeli pharmaceutical brand Teva commissioned a wide variety of research reports into the state of global healthcare, speaking to many thousands of carers, patients and professionals from a large number of countries worldwide.
In the months that followed, it became clear that whilst a huge amount of useful insight had been generated, the team were unable to make any of it actionable - so we were brought in to distill the learnings into a more manageable set of personas and accompanying scenarios for the team to design against.
